HARD UPPER TORSO |

The lightweight composite Hard Upper Torso was developed and manufactured for NASA Johnson Space Center for use with JSC’s in-house advance spacesuit technology demonstrator (MK-III). Manufactured from carbon/graphite fiber, the MK-III HUT weighs roughly 17.0 lbs and allows rigid mounting of the spacesuits’s Portable Life Support System (PLSS). |
